Red Oak Cork Flooring | WECORK Serenity Collection
Red Oak is part of the WECORK Serenity Collection, our wood-look line. A printed oak pattern over a cork body, so the floor reads as oak but behaves like cork: warmer, quieter, and softer than the hardwood it resembles. It installs as a floating plank.
Why cork
Cork holds roughly 200 million air cells per cubic inch. That structure absorbs impact and airborne sound rather than reflecting it, which matters in second-floor and multifamily installations. It acts as a natural thermal barrier, so the floor stays warm underfoot even over a slab or a basement subfloor. And it compresses and returns to near 100%, like standing on air all day. Cork is naturally hypoallergenic; the suberin in the bark resists mold, mildew, and dust mites with no chemical treatment and no VOC off-gassing. The bark is stripped every nine years and the tree is never cut.
